Folk Performances in Jubail Industrial City Draw Visitors and Showcase Authentic Saudi Heritage
Jubail Industrial City hosted a series of folk performances and entertainment events over the weekend that drew large numbers of residents and visitors to the Jubail Roman Amphitheater on Al Fanateer beach, as part of the seasonal events program organized by the Royal Commission in Jubail.
The events presented a varied program of heritage performances including Samri, the Saudi Ardah and the southern Ardah, in a festive, interactive atmosphere that reflected the depth and authenticity of Saudi cultural heritage and strengthened the community's bond with its national heritage.
"Samri Night" drew a notable turnout of families and young people, who engaged with the folk performances and joined in the heritage atmosphere, in a scene embodying the community's vitality and its interest in reviving traditional arts and passing them on to new generations.
The events are part of the Royal Commission in Jubail's efforts to enhance quality of life in the city, diversify entertainment and cultural activities and establish Jubail Industrial City as an integrated destination that combines work, entertainment and culture.
