Saudi Post (SPL) Enhances the Pilgrim Experience with "Hajj Without a Bag" and "Traveler Without a Bag" Services for Hajj 1447 AH
Saudi Post (SPL) is continuing to support the Hajj and Umrah system by offering its "Hajj Without a Bag" and "Traveler Without a Bag" services during the Hajj season of 1447 AH, as part of the Kingdom's efforts to develop logistics services for the Guests of God and provide pilgrims with a more comfortable, seamless experience from arrival to departure.
The services are part of the national integration among the bodies serving pilgrims, easing their movement and enriching their spiritual experience in line with the Saudi Vision 2030 goals of raising the quality of services for the Guests of God.
"Hajj Without a Bag" for Domestic Pilgrims
The "Hajj Without a Bag" service provides integrated logistics solutions for domestic pilgrims, collecting luggage from SPL branches across the Kingdom's regions and delivering it directly to pilgrims' accommodation at the holy sites.
The service lets pilgrims travel between cities and the holy sites without carrying their luggage, adding to their comfort and giving them an easier, more reassuring experience while performing the rituals.
"Traveler Without a Bag" for Pilgrims from Abroad
The "Traveler Without a Bag" service is dedicated to pilgrims arriving from outside the Kingdom, collecting luggage directly from the baggage belts at King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah and Prince Mohammed bin Abdulaziz International Airport in Madinah.
SPL delivers the luggage to pilgrims' accommodation, and on departure collects it from hotels and delivers it to the airports, in an integrated travel experience designed to ease the pilgrim's journey from arrival to departure.
An Integrated Operating System for Pilgrims
SPL delivers its Hajj season services through an integrated operating network of more than 565 trained staff working around the clock, along with a logistics fleet of more than 100 trucks and 65 vehicles dedicated to last-mile services.
This operational readiness aims to raise the efficiency of operations and ensure fast delivery of services, providing an advanced logistics experience for the Guests of God.
Supporting the Logistics Transformation of the Hajj Season
SPL's participation in the Hajj season embodies its role as a national operator and a logistics and geospatial enabler, through effective partnerships with government bodies and the private sector.
The services also support the transport and logistics system tied to Hajj and Umrah and offer innovative solutions that keep pace with the Kingdom's technical and operational development.
A More Comfortable Experience for the Guests of God
The two services reflect the Kingdom's drive to improve the pilgrim experience through practical solutions that reduce the burdens of travel and let the Guests of God devote themselves to their rituals with ease and comfort.
The initiatives also confirm continued national efforts to develop the services offered during the Hajj season and raise the quality of the spiritual experience for pilgrims from around the world.
