Red Sea Global has announced the opening of the Four Seasons Resort and Residences Red Sea on Shura Island in the Red Sea destination, starting the day after tomorrow, Wednesday, in a step that boosts the growth of the Kingdom's luxury tourism sector and supports the destination's standing as one of the world's leading tourism projects.

The opening marks the entry into commercial operation of the first resort developed through a joint venture in the Red Sea Global portfolio, among the sustainable hospitality projects the destination is delivering.

A SAR 2.6 Billion Investment

The resort's investment value reached SAR 2.6 billion, developed through an equal partnership between Red Sea Global and Kingdom Holding Company.

Riyad Bank provided SAR 2 billion in debt financing, reflecting the scale of investor confidence in the Kingdom's quality tourism projects.

A Resort Built on Regenerative Tourism

The Four Seasons Resort Red Sea operates on the principles of regenerative tourism, running entirely on renewable energy and using advanced water and waste management systems.

These solutions aim to reduce environmental impact and support the long-term conservation of the environment and natural resources, in line with the Kingdom's vision of developing sustainable, world-class tourism.

Continued Expansion in Hospitality

The opening is part of the Red Sea destination's continued expansion in hospitality and aviation, as tourism demand for the destination grows during seasons and holidays.

The destination recorded occupancy of 82% during the last ten days of last Ramadan, with demand expected to rise ahead of Eid Al-Adha.

32 Additional Flights to Red Sea Airport

To support this growth, Red Sea Global announced 32 additional flights to Red Sea International Airport (RSI) during the holiday period, easing visitor access and increasing the destination's operating capacity.

The expansion reflects the development of tourism infrastructure and air transport linked to the Red Sea projects.

A Global Destination for Luxury Tourism

The Red Sea destination continues to cement its standing as one of the world's leading luxury tourism destinations through upscale hospitality projects and sustainable tourism experiences that combine nature, luxury and innovation.

Shura Island is one of the main destinations within the project, home to world-class resorts and integrated tourism experiences.
