Dhahran, 7 Dhu al-Hijjah 1447 AH

The King Abdulaziz Center for World Culture (Ithra) is preparing to launch an integrated festive program for Eid Al-Adha 1447 AH, featuring more than 30 cultural, entertainment and artistic events from 11 to 14 Dhu al-Hijjah 1447 AH (28 to 31 May 2026), under the theme "Ithra Eid: Moments We Share".

The program is part of the center's efforts to offer varied cultural and creative experiences that reflect the spirit of Eid and highlight the cultural diversity of the Islamic world, through interactive activities, performances and sensory experiences for every member of the family.

A Cultural Experience Inspired by the Islamic World

During the Eid days Ithra will turn its facilities into spaces celebrating six cultures from the Islamic world, in an experience combining heritage, the arts and innovation and giving visitors a chance to discover varied customs and traditions in a distinctive festive atmosphere.

The program aims to strengthen cultural exchange and enrich the visitor experience through content that combines knowledge and entertainment, reflecting the shared values and cultural identity of the Islamic world.

"A Story in Every Scent" Evokes the Identity of Eid

The visitor journey begins at the Plaza with the experience "A Story in Every Scent", which presents the ingredients of fragrances inspired by the Kingdom's cities, from incense and oriental perfumes to natural flowers, along with the methods of blending and making them, reflecting the Saudi perfume heritage tied to Eid occasions.

The event also lets visitors explore the stories behind traditional scents and perfumes that form an authentic part of the Kingdom's social and cultural heritage.

Grandmother's House and a Virtual Reality Mural

Visitors will experience the atmosphere of old Eids inside a space designed as "Grandmother's House", evoking the details of family gatherings and warm social moments in a modern, interactive spirit.

The events also include an innovative art experience in which visitors help paint a digital mural using virtual reality technology, combining creativity with modern technology.

Humood AlKhudher Performs on Eid Nights at Ithra

On the artistic side, the Ithra Theater hosts Kuwaiti singer Humood AlKhudher in a series of concerts over three days, performing a selection of his best-known works in a festive atmosphere for Eid visitors.

The concerts are part of the entertainment program accompanying the celebrations, which aims to offer varied artistic and cultural experiences for all age groups.

A Cultural Destination Celebrating Eid and Creativity

Ithra continues to strengthen its standing as one of the Kingdom's leading cultural and creative destinations by organizing seasonal programs that combine the arts, knowledge and entertainment, enriching the cultural scene and offering quality experiences to visitors during national and social occasions.
