Madinah, 16 Dhu al-Hijjah 1447 AH

The Madinah branch of the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance is continuing to distribute the gift of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, copies of the Holy Quran and translations of its meanings, to pilgrims returning home through Prince Mohammed bin Abdulaziz International Airport after completing this year's Hajj rituals for 1447 AH.

The initiative extends the care the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia devotes to the Guests of God. The gift includes copies of the Holy Quran and translations of its meanings in a number of international languages, published by the King Fahd Complex for the Printing of the Holy Quran, so that pilgrims can benefit from the Book of God in their own languages after returning home.

The ministry's field teams distribute the copies inside the airport's departure halls around the clock under an organizational plan that ensures the gift reaches pilgrims easily before they leave the Kingdom, reflecting the level of organization and services provided throughout the Hajj journey.

A number of pilgrims expressed their joy at the gesture, saying the gift of the Holy Quran is a precious spiritual memento to accompany them after performing the pilgrimage, and praised the care, attention and integrated services they found from arrival until departure.

The distribution of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques' gift embodies the Kingdom's continued mission of serving the Holy Quran and spreading it worldwide, along with its mission of serving Islam and Muslims and caring for the Guests of God at every stage of their spiritual journey.
