HE Turki bin Abdulmohsen Alalshikh, Chairman of the General Entertainment Authority and President of the Saudi Boxing Federation, said the anticipated bout "The Comeback" between British boxer Anthony Joshua and Albania's Kristian Prenga has continued to draw wide global attention since its announcement, a new sign of the Kingdom's growing standing as a leading destination for the biggest international sporting and entertainment events.

The bout is scheduled for 25 July 2026 at Jeddah Superdome as part of Jeddah Calendar 2026 in cooperation with Riyadh Season, and will be streamed live around the world on DAZN.

Alalshikh said the level of anticipation and media coverage surrounding the event reflects the Kingdom's success in attracting the biggest fights and championships in the world, adding that the bout is a new addition to the sporting and entertainment achievements the Kingdom has recorded in recent years.

His remarks came as London hosted the press conference that saw the first face-to-face media encounter between the two boxers since the fight was officially announced, before a large turnout of international media and boxing fans.

Anthony Joshua said he is continuing his intensive preparations for the fight, that his goal is clear and that he intends to deliver the best possible performance in the ring, while Kristian Prenga expressed strong confidence in his ability to produce a standout result in the biggest fight of his professional career.

Joshua enters the bout with a professional record of 28 wins and 4 losses, including 25 by knockout, while Prenga brings a strong record of 20 wins, all by knockout, against a single defeat.

The event is part of the series of global sporting events hosted by the Kingdom as it strengthens its place on the world sports map and offers exceptional experiences to local and international audiences, in line with Saudi Vision 2030.
