Al Wadi Resort in Aseer Unveils the Kingdom's Largest Fountain as Part of an Integrated Tourism Project
Al Wadi Resort in the Aseer region has opened the largest fountain in the Kingdom, the second tallest in the Middle East and the third tallest in the world, reaching a height of 120 meters, as part of an integrated tourism project designed to strengthen the region's standing as a leading tourism destination.
The fountain cost more than SAR 16 million to build and pumps more than 7 million liters of water, making it one of the most prominent new attractions drawing visitors during the summer season and throughout the year.
The Al Wadi Resort project spans more than 300,000 square meters and features a variety of tourism and entertainment facilities, including gardens, farms, restaurants, cafes, a theater and indoor halls, offering a complete experience for families and visitors.
The resort also includes a 60,000-square-meter heritage village designed to reflect the cultural identity of the Aseer region, with traditional markets and heritage shops, along with a full heritage museum scheduled to open next month to present the region's history and cultural legacy.
The resort offers a daily program of events and entertainment, including dancing fountain shows, theatrical performances and side events, held daily from 1:00 pm to midnight, boosting tourism and enriching the visitor experience.
The project embodies the private sector's contribution to developing the tourism sector through quality projects that support the local economy and strengthen Aseer's standing as one of the Kingdom's leading tourism destinations, in line with Saudi Vision 2030.
