Mawhiba Summer 2026 Opens Doors to Innovation for More Than 12,000 Students Through Local and Global Programs
The King Abdulaziz and His Companions Foundation for Giftedness and Creativity (Mawhiba) is continuing to deliver its summer programs for 2026, offering an integrated learning experience that combines academic enrichment, scientific research and modern technology through local and international programs targeting more than 12,000 male and female students inside and outside the Kingdom.
Mawhiba Summer 2026 includes around 88 enrichment units covering four main national tracks: human health, energy and industry, environmental sustainability and basic needs, and the economies of the future, delivered by 53 academic bodies inside and outside the Kingdom.
More than 10,000 students are taking part in local enrichment programs, alongside international programs that include 20 students in an AI program in cooperation with Huawei in China, 41 students in the Mawhiba Ambassadors program in the United States and the United Kingdom, and scientific participation in Japan and several other countries.
On the research side, King Saud University is hosting the research enrichment program, which focuses on developing scientific research skills. More than 50 students are training in preparing research proposals and working in laboratories under the supervision of leading faculty members and researchers, with a focus on national priorities in energy, sustainability, industry and human health.
Mawhiba has also launched, in cooperation with the Saudi Digital Academy, the "Smart Summer" initiative, running from 12 July to 6 August 2026, offering specialized programs in programming, artificial intelligence, game development and large language model technology, as well as app and game development using the latest global platforms.
This year's edition adds a set of new programs, including robotics, fintech, blockchain, engineering drawing, rockets and space missions, environmental sustainability, green energy, sports physics and artificial intelligence, strengthening students' readiness for the demands of the future.
Mawhiba Summer programs are held in 19 cities around the world in cooperation with prestigious universities and educational institutions, including the University of Cambridge, the University of Texas at Austin, Imperial College London and the University of Wisconsin, as well as a number of Saudi universities and schools, as part of the foundation's efforts to prepare a national generation equipped with the skills of innovation, scientific research and critical thinking.
