AlUla Summer Fruits Season 2026 Supports Farmers and Boosts Investment in Agricultural Products
The AlUla Summer Fruits Season 2026, held under the "Bounties of AlUla Seasons" initiative at the Al Manshiyah farmers' market, is continuing to establish itself as an economic platform that supports farmers and entrepreneurs and raises the added value of local crops by strengthening marketing and food processing opportunities.
The season showcases the output of AlUla's farms in the leading summer fruits, such as figs, grapes, mango and pomegranates, giving farmers the chance to sell their produce directly to consumers and demonstrate its quality, raising economic returns and supporting the sustainability of farming in the governorate.
The season also opens the way for entrepreneurs and productive families to use local crops in creating value-added food products, including natural juices, jams, dried fruit, desserts and other processed goods that diversify sources of income and boost investment in the agricultural sector.
The event embodies the integration of production, marketing and food processing in AlUla, supporting the growth of small and medium enterprises and raising the efficiency of agricultural value chains, as part of efforts to develop the local economy and achieve sustainability.
AlUla's farms produce more than 4,900 tons of summer fruit a year, and the governorate is home to more than 7,000 farms employing more than 5,000 farmers, who benefit from an exceptional agricultural environment and inherited expertise that have shaped the quality and diversity of its produce.
The season is part of initiatives to support sustainable agricultural development, empower farmers and entrepreneurs, and strengthen AlUla's standing as an agricultural, tourism and economic destination that combines local production with innovation.
