AlUla Governorate is continuing to offer an exceptional tourism experience during the Summer Fruits Season 2026, where the abundance of the harvest meets local culinary arts to give visitors a tasting journey that starts in the oasis farms and reaches heritage restaurants, cafes and desert resorts celebrating AlUla's seasonal produce.

The season runs until 22 July 2026, coinciding with the peak harvest of the oasis's most famous crops, led by oranges, grapes, mango, figs and pomegranates. The fruit is served fresh or used in dishes, drinks and desserts that blend traditional recipes with contemporary touches while preserving the authenticity of local flavors.

The heritage restaurants of the Old Town stand out as one of the experience's key stops, serving dishes inside the historic mud-brick houses that reflect AlUla's architectural identity, while restaurants overlooking the farms and the desert resorts offer settings that combine local flavors with natural views of the oases and rock formations.

AlUla dates feature in many baked goods, desserts and innovative recipes, alongside local citrus and seasonal fruit in salads, drinks and light dishes, reflecting the richness of the agricultural produce for which the governorate is known.

The experience goes beyond tasting to tracing the journey of crops from farm to table and exploring the inherited farming practices that shaped AlUla's food identity, along with a visit to the Al Manshiyah farmers' market, where visitors can buy fresh fruit directly from producers and discover local industries and productive families.

As the first of the annual "Bounties of AlUla" seasons, the Summer Fruits Season is a model of integration between agriculture, tourism and culture, turning the oasis's produce into hospitality experiences that support farmers and cement AlUla's standing as a distinctive tourism and cultural destination.
