Tuwaiq Academy Launches Autonomous Drone Systems Camp 2026 in Riyadh
The Autonomous Drone Systems Camp 2026 launches today, Sunday 9 August 2026, in Riyadh, organized by Tuwaiq Academy and running until 10 September 2026, in a specialized training program focused on developing participants' skills in programming and operating drones and autonomous systems, and in using AI to analyze data and imagery.
The camp offers a training experience that combines theory with hands-on practice. Participants learn the architecture of autopilot systems and autonomous control mechanisms, and use simulators to test flight scenarios in virtual environments that mimic real conditions, building practical experience in unmanned flight technology.
The program focuses on a set of advanced technical themes, including programming drones to carry out autonomous missions, using computer vision to analyze images and video, and applying AI algorithms to tracking, object recognition and decision-making.
The camp also covers communication systems between drones and ground stations and the management and exchange of data, along with training in using ground control stations to monitor flights and plan missions, giving participants a fully applied experience in autonomous systems and drone technology.
The camp runs until 10 September 2026 at Tuwaiq Academy's headquarters in Riyadh, from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm, as part of the academy's programs to develop and qualify technical talent in the future fields of AI and advanced technology.
