King Saud University in Riyadh launches "Our Children at the Heart of Our University" tomorrow, on 12 and 13 August 2026, an event organized by the Deanship of Human Resources to offer an educational and entertaining experience for the children of the university's staff, letting them discover the campus and get to know where their parents work.

The event is open to children aged 5 to 12, daily from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm, with a varied program of workshops, experiences and interactive activities suited to the target age groups.

The initiative gives children an unconventional experience inside King Saud University, moving from simply knowing where their parents work to exploring it and taking part in a set of activities designed especially for them.

The event blends learning, entertainment and exploration, making a visit to the university an enjoyable experience for children and helping them form a closer picture of the academic and professional environment in which their parents work.

Workshops and Interactive Activities for Children

The program of "Our Children at the Heart of Our University 2026" includes workshops, educational experiences and entertaining and interactive activities that give children space to take part and learn in a simplified way.

The activities aim to create a stimulating atmosphere that encourages children to interact and explore, with age-appropriate content that turns their visit into an experience combining knowledge and fun.

Chaperones are welcome to accompany children, allowing families to follow the programs and share in the atmosphere of the event.

The event takes place in the main lobby of the male students' campus, while Lobby 24 of the female students' campus hosts part of the program according to the approved arrangements.

Spreading the activities across the two sites helps organize the participation of children and their families and provides a suitable environment to benefit from the programs and experiences on offer over the two days.

The event strengthens ties between university staff and their families by giving children a window into part of their parents' daily life at work, adding a family and social dimension to the university environment.
