King Saud University in Riyadh hosts "Our Children at the Heart of Our University 2026" on 12 and 13 August 2026, organized by the Deanship of Human Resources to give the children of the university's staff a chance to discover their parents' working environment in an experience combining educational, entertaining and interactive activities.
The event targets children aged 5 to 12 and runs from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm in the main lobby of the male students' campus and Lobby 24 of the female students' campus, with arrangements suited to the sites and the participating groups.
The event gives children a different experience within the university environment, letting them get to know, in a simplified way, the place where their parents work and explore the university atmosphere through an age-appropriate program.
The experience combines exploration, entertainment and learning, helping children form a closer picture of the university workplace while giving families a chance to share an experience inside one of the Kingdom's largest academic institutions.
Workshops and Interactive Experiences for Children
The program includes workshops, interactive activities and educational and entertaining experiences for children, giving them a space to take part and learn in a simple, enjoyable way.
The activities aim to encourage interaction and participation and create a positive experience for children tied to the university and their parents' workplace, away from the traditional image of the office.
Chaperones may accompany participating children to the event site, helping families take part in the experience and follow the activities on offer.
