Najran University has launched a series of cultural and creative competitions as part of its Arabic Language Month activities, taking place from November 4 to 17, 2026, to discover student talent, encourage artistic and literary expression, and strengthen appreciation for the Arabic language and cultural identity.
The competitions are organized by the university's General Administration of Corporate Communication and Knowledge Enrichment in collaboration with the College of Science and Arts.
Held under the theme “Unleash Your Creativity and Become One of the Stars of the Arabic Language Competition,” the initiative invites male and female students to showcase their abilities and compete for opportunities to advance to the national level.
Five Competitions Covering Literature and the Arts
The Arabic Language Month competitions feature five creative categories designed to accommodate a wide range of student interests and talents.

Short Story Writing
Essay Writing
Arabic Calligraphy
Poetry
Drawing
These competitions provide students with opportunities to demonstrate their creativity, develop literary and artistic skills, and participate in a supportive academic environment.
Top Five Entries in Each Category Qualify for National Competition

The top five winning entries in each category will qualify for the major national competition, allowing talented students to showcase their creative work on a broader platform.
