Riyadh is preparing to host the Global Security and Technology Summit (GSTS 2026) from 18 to 20 December 2026, an international event organized by the Ministry of Interior under the patronage of HRH Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, in partnership with Tuwaiq Academy.
The summit brings leaders in security and technology, decision-makers, experts and innovators from around the world together to exchange expertise, review the latest technological and security trends, strengthen international cooperation and develop best practices in the sectors tied to security and technology.
A Platform for the Future of Security and Technology
The summit addresses a number of advanced technical and security fields, led by cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, the Internet of Things and emerging technologies, along with smart surveillance technology and crisis management solutions.
The summit also provides a space for dialogue among government bodies, the private sector, experts and innovators, presenting the experiences and technical solutions that can strengthen security capabilities and raise readiness for future challenges.
Accompanying Events and Innovation Competitions
The summit agenda includes a set of accompanying programs and events, most notably the Security and Technology Month, which offers enrichment content and programs tied to the security and technology sectors.
Riyadh also hosts the SAIIF global security and technology innovation competition from 19 to 21 November 2026, with innovators and technology solution providers competing for total prizes of SAR 5 million.
These events support innovation and the development of technology talent, the creation of new solutions to security and technology challenges, and the Kingdom's presence on the global stage of advanced technology.
