Five Major Events to Close the Kingdom's 2026 Falconry Season
The Saudi Falcons Club is continuing its packed program of events for 2026 following the close of the International Falcon Breeders Auction, held at the club's headquarters in Malham, north of Riyadh, from 5 to 25 August, which recorded sales exceeding SAR 33 million.
The auction drew notable international participation, with more than 100 breeding farms from 24 countries taking part. A total of 2,265 falcons were sold over 21 days, confirming the event's standing as a specialized platform that brings together breeders, falconers, buyers and falconry enthusiasts from around the world.
Among the headline deals was the sale of a Gyr Trio falcon for SAR 1.3 million, the highest price of this year's edition and the second highest in the auction's history.
The auction went beyond sales, featuring specialized pavilions for falconry supplies, a "Future Falconer" zone, and awareness programs and workshops on regulatory and technical topics, in cooperation with specialized national bodies.
With the auction concluded, the Saudi Falcons Club is preparing five major events over the coming months, including exhibitions, auctions, races and specialized festivals, closing the 2026 season with a program that combines cultural heritage with sporting, economic and tourism dimensions.
