Social Development Bank Expands AI Services with "Noura" Assistant and Smart Collection Agent at LEAP 2026
The Social Development Bank announced the launch of two new digital products during its participation in LEAP 2026 in Riyadh: the Noura smart assistant, built on generative and agentic AI, and the Smart Collection Agent. The move aims to improve the beneficiary experience and raise the efficiency of operations and digital services.
The launch is part of the bank's digital transformation journey, which focuses on redesigning services around beneficiary needs and using data, platforms and modern technology to deliver faster, more efficient and more proactive services.
Since 2025 the bank has followed a phased path to adopting AI. The first phase raised the readiness of its workforce, training more than 600 employees across departments and sectors, before moving on to study operational challenges and convert them into practical technical solutions and models.
Noura provides a digital experience powered by generative and agentic AI, helping beneficiaries access the bank's services, receive guidance and complete procedures through digital channels. The assistant has passed one million users and now carries out the equivalent of 50% of all transactions previously completed through traditional channels.
The Smart Collection Agent, meanwhile, uses data and AI to analyze customer patterns and develop communication and collection mechanisms. The system has completed more than 200,000 successful collection contacts a month and helped resolve collection challenges for more than 3,500 customers.
Eng. Sultan bin Abdulaziz Al Humaidi, CEO of the Social Development Bank, said the new solutions mark an advanced stage in the bank's digital transformation, combining talent development, process improvement and the use of modern technology to deliver easier and faster services to beneficiaries.
The bank continues to expand the use of AI and digital technology across its services and operations, supporting proactive solutions and operational efficiency and strengthening its development role in line with Saudi Vision 2030.
