Under the patronage of the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources and in strategic partnership with the Riyadh Chamber, the third Saudi International Wood and Woodworking Machinery Exhibition took place at the Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Center from 1 to 3 September 2026, attracting leading companies and industry figures in wood, manufacturing machinery, production technology and furniture components.

The exhibition comes as the Kingdom experiences rapid economic and construction momentum driven by residential, commercial, tourism, hospitality and urban development projects. That momentum is fueling growing demand for wood, furniture components, manufacturing machinery, processing and finishing technologies, and advanced production solutions capable of raising efficiency and meeting the evolving requirements of projects.

The choice of Riyadh as host reflects the Kingdom's advanced standing as a growing regional hub for industry and investment, giving international companies a way to establish their presence and build strategic partnerships. The exhibition also offers a specialized commercial environment that gathers manufacturers, suppliers, developers, designers and decision-makers from the Kingdom and global markets, allowing companies to showcase their products, reach customers directly and build business relationships that support growth in the Saudi market and the region.

The show assembled an integrated ecosystem of materials, machinery, technologies and advanced solutions for the wood industry, from raw materials and wood products through cutting and shaping machines and processing and finishing technologies, to furniture components, accessories, tools and advanced systems designed to modernize production lines and improve their efficiency.

The 2026 edition featured a group of companies specializing in woodworking machinery and technology, including GUMACO, SIMCO, KingdomWood, Simplex, Watania, DIMAC, AR Machinery and H&C Group. Eurotec took part in the furniture accessories and components category, alongside specialists in wood and raw materials including Al Zan Building Materials, French Timber, the Portuguese Association of Wood and Furniture Industries (AIMMP), Superior Timber, Baillie Lumber and Nile Wood. Exhibitors came from Saudi Arabia, Portugal, France, the United States, Egypt, the UAE and China, reflecting the event's international reach.

The Made in Saudi program participated as strategic partner, GUMACO joined as platinum partner for woodworking technology, DIMAC as gold partner for woodworking technology and Euro Tech as main partner for woodworking technology, while Zoomlion took part as the official partner for woodworking equipment.

Over three days the agenda covered key themes including Saudi Vision 2030, the economics of the wood sector, smart manufacturing, sustainable timber, timber construction, supply chains and digital trade, reinforcing the event's role in shaping the future of the wood sector in the Kingdom and the region.
