Riyadh is set to host the Saudi Hotel & Hospitality Expo 2026 from September 15 to 17, 2026, at the Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Center (RICEC). The event will feature a wide participation from hotel operators, developers, manufacturers, suppliers, and decision-makers in the hospitality sector.

The Ministry of Tourism is participating as the strategic partner for this year's edition, reflecting the government's commitment to developing the tourism and hospitality ecosystem and fostering collaboration among public and private entities, investors, and suppliers through a specialized platform that aligns with the sector's expansion in the Kingdom.

According to Nasser Al-Ansari, the official spokesperson for the Ministry of Tourism, the strategic partnership with the exhibition is part of the ministry's ongoing efforts to support the growth of the tourism and hospitality sectors, enhance the integration of the ecosystem components, and facilitate knowledge exchange, build quality partnerships, and boost the sector's competitiveness and sustainability in line with the Saudi Vision 2030 targets.

The exhibition comes at a time of significant growth in the market, as a report on the hospitality sector's performance for the first quarter of 2026, released by the Ministry of Tourism, showed that the number of licensed hospitality facilities exceeded 6,120, providing around 616,000 licensed rooms, with the number of licensed hotels nearing 3,000, totaling over 500,000 rooms.

Initial data from the ministry also indicate that the total number of local and foreign tourists reached approximately 37.2 million during the first quarter of the year, while the total tourism expenditure for both domestic and foreign tourism was estimated at 82.7 billion Saudi riyals.

The exhibition capitalizes on this growth by providing a platform that connects suppliers and manufacturers with operators, developers, and procurement managers, showcasing solutions and products that include hotel furnishings, hospitality technologies, furniture and bedding, textile products, food equipment, wellness facilities, surfaces and flooring, and facility operation solutions.

The 2026 edition will feature the launch of the new CoffeeZone, which brings together experts in the coffee sector, café operators, and hospitality buyers, covering coffee roasting, preparation methods, espresso techniques, and café furniture and equipment.

CoffeeZone will also host the 2026 Saudi Barista Championship, where the winner will have the opportunity to represent the country in the 2026 World Barista Championship in Panama.

Meanwhile, the SaudiHost area will return to the exhibition to offer a specialized space for suppliers and solutions related to hospitality operations and equipment.

The exhibition will also feature a knowledge program that includes the Hospitality Leaders’ Summit, with participants from both the public and private sectors discussing trends in the tourism and hospitality industries, as well as the Hotel & Hospitality Awards that celebrate excellence in hotels, restaurants, cafes, and tourism.

The exhibition will be held concurrently with the INDEX Saudi Arabia exhibition, bringing together integrated sectors including interior design, hospitality, operations, and equipment, providing developers, operators, engineers, designers, contractors, and suppliers with greater opportunities to build business relationships and explore new products and solutions.
