Taibah University in Madinah has launched a specialist training camp in robotics and autonomous aircraft, part of its programmes to develop technical skills and introduce participants to technologies linked to future industries through theoretical instruction and hands-on application.

The camp began on Tuesday, 15 September 2026. It targets enthusiasts and beginners seeking practical experience in robotics, programming and autonomous aircraft, giving them a knowledge and technical foundation that can be developed at more advanced stages.

The programme includes workshops on robot design and construction, as well as programming training using several technologies and platforms, including Arduino, ESP32 and Raspberry Pi.

Its practical component also introduces 3D-printing technologies and autonomous-aircraft construction, giving participants direct experience of the tools and technologies used to develop contemporary prototypes and projects.

The programme extends beyond workshop training by enabling participants to complete applied projects and field visits. These activities help turn theoretical concepts and knowledge into practical solutions and prototypes and build greater confidence in working with modern technologies.

Participants who meet the programme requirements receive a camp-completion certificate, supporting their educational pathways and the development of their technical skills.

The camp is part of Taibah University’s efforts to promote a culture of innovation, build the capabilities of students and people interested in emerging technologies, and help prepare talent able to keep pace with technological transformation and the digital economy. It aligns with Saudi Vision 2030 objectives for human-capability development and support for technology and innovation.
