The Emirate of Riyadh Region, in cooperation with the General Directorate of Guidance and Counseling at the Ministry of Interior, organized a cultural and historical seminar at Al-Hukm Palace in Riyadh to mark Saudi National Day.

The seminar, titled “The Unification of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia: Foundations, Impact and Civilizational Message,” was presented by Dr. Saud bin Mohammed Al-Shuqair and explored key aspects of the Kingdom’s history and development since its unification.

The event aimed to strengthen the values of national loyalty and belonging, highlight Saudi Arabia’s achievements since unification, and reflect on the efforts that contributed to building and developing the country.

It also emphasized the role of citizens in supporting security, stability, and sustainable development, highlighting the importance of active citizenship in contributing to the Kingdom’s continued progress.

Exploring Saudi Arabia’s History and National Values

The seminar addressed several key themes, including the Kingdom’s history and stages of development, as well as the importance of strengthening national loyalty and belonging in the context of Saudi National Day.

Discussions also highlighted the role of Saudi security personnel in protecting the country and maintaining its security and stability.

Other themes focused on the foundations associated with the Kingdom’s unification, including national identity, responsible citizenship, moderation, and the values that have contributed to social cohesion and national development.

The seminar forms part of activities marking Saudi National Day and seeks to deepen awareness of the Kingdom’s history while strengthening national values and highlighting the country’s journey of unity, development, and progress.
