Jeddah Municipality is organizing a wide range of community and entertainment activities across the city to mark Saudi National Day 2026 under the theme “Ezzna Btab’na.”

The celebrations will extend across parks, public squares, major roads, and other public spaces, with the municipality preparing facilities to welcome residents and visitors during the national occasion.

As part of the preparations, more than 3,000 Saudi flags have been installed across streets and public squares, accompanied by decorative lighting and installations at several prominent locations.

Decorations have been installed along Palestine Street, Al-Salam Street, and Prince Mohammed bin Abdulaziz Road, as well as at several major squares, including King Fahd Flagpole Square, Tahlia Square, and Al-Saif Square.

The celebrations also extend to Al-Yamamah Walkway and several main entrances to the city.

Special lighting displays are featured at Globe Roundabout, Al-Yaqout Walkway, and the intersection of Al-Haramain Road and Huda Al-Sham Road, in addition to Jeddah Municipality headquarters and several municipal buildings.

Family Activities in Jeddah Parks

Community and entertainment programs will also take place at Prince Majid Park and Al-Ajawid Park, offering activities designed for families and children.

The program includes a children’s theater, drawing and coloring activities, decorative installations, and other accompanying entertainment experiences.

Jeddah’s extensive network of public facilities will support the celebrations. The city has more than 500 parks, in addition to waterfront areas, beaches, walkways, and public squares that serve as major recreational spaces for residents and visitors.

Expanding Community Participation

Majid bin Omar Al-Sulami, Director General of Community Participation at Jeddah Municipality, said distributing activities across multiple locations is intended to broaden community participation and make greater use of parks and public facilities during the national occasion.

He added that the municipality is coordinating across its relevant departments to prepare venues and deliver accompanying programs, providing visitors with an appropriate celebratory experience while strengthening the role of municipal facilities as venues for community events and activities.
