Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance is participating in the international conference titled “Saudi Arabia’s Efforts in Addressing Ideological Deviations,” organized by the Islamic University of Madinah with the participation of government and academic entities.

The conference continues today, Monday, September 28, 2026, following its opening on Sunday, with international participation that includes more than 30 muftis and 54 speakers representing 34 nationalities.

The two-day program features nine scientific sessions, bringing together scholars, researchers, and specialists from Saudi Arabia and abroad.

International Participation and Intellectual Awareness

Conference sessions address issues related to ideological deviations while highlighting Saudi initiatives and experiences in promoting awareness and intellectual prevention.

The event also provides a platform for exchanging knowledge and expertise among participating scholars, researchers, and specialists.

Ministry Showcases Programs and Initiatives

The Ministry of Islamic Affairs is participating in the accompanying exhibition through an informational pavilion showcasing its programs and initiatives in Saudi Arabia and abroad.

The pavilion highlights efforts related to religious awareness, moderation, intellectual security, and raising awareness of extremism and radical ideologies.

It also introduces visitors to the work of the King Fahd Glorious Qur’an Printing Complex, including the stages involved in printing, preserving, distributing, and translating the meanings of the Qur’an.

A total of 300 copies of the Complex’s publications are also being distributed to visitors as a gift from the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques.

Digital Applications on Display

The ministry is also showcasing several digital solutions, including the Rushd application, which provides services such as an electronic Qur’an, prayer times, Qibla direction, and a multilingual Islamic digital library.

Another featured solution is the Correct Citation application, designed to support accurate writing and searching of Qur’anic verses and Prophetic traditions through reliable databases.

The pavilion also features a multilingual 3D virtual Hajj and Umrah learning application, offering an interactive simulation designed to explain the rituals in an accessible format.
