SusTAIN workshops begin Tuesday in Madinah with regular seats full
The University of Prince Mugrin in Madinah will begin SusTAIN 2026’s pre-conference Workshops and Innovation Day on Tuesday, 6 October. Registration starts at 8am, followed by the first sessions at 8:30am.
Six free workshops run across three slots: 8:30–10:30am, 11am–1pm and 2–4pm. Topics span AI security, integrated-circuit design, mineral and energy resources, intelligent mobility, automation and sustainable concrete engineering.
When checked on 4 October, all six workshops’ regular seats were full. The circuit-design and intelligent-mobility sessions still offered waiting lists. A waiting-list place does not confirm admission: the organiser allocates a seat if an earlier registrant does not attend. Availability may change.
Activities take place at the university’s Female Campus on Khaled Bin Thabet Street in Mudhainib. Tuesday’s provisional programme also includes final innovation-project pitches. Main conference sessions begin on Wednesday, 7 October, and the organiser notes that the schedule remains subject to updates.
