WPC Energy panel reviews Saudi investment and non-oil growth
Saudi Arabia’s cumulative foreign direct investment stock reached about SAR 1.1 trillion, Investment Minister Fahad Al-Saif told a Vision 2030 panel at the 25th WPC Energy Congress in Riyadh, according to SPA’s October 12 report.
Al-Saif described a shift toward investment quality and said the private sector accounted for more than 75% of investment over the preceding five years, supported by supply chains and industrial clusters.
Deputy Finance Minister Abdulmohsen Al-Khalaf said non-oil activities represented 55% of GDP and emphasized the complementary roles of prudent fiscal management and economic growth, according to SPA’s Arabic account of the session.
The congress runs from October 11–15, 2026. Its programme and exhibition take place on October 12–15 at Riyadh Front Exhibition and Conference Center, according to the official schedule.
