The Saudi Veterinary and Pet Expo 2024 is preparing to launch on 30 October 2024, as the first and only exhibition dedicated to pets in Saudi Arabia. The annual show comes amid strong, promising growth in the pet supplies market, which has seen a notable rise in interest in pets across Saudi households and farms alike.

The pet sector is growing rapidly, driving an increase in the number of pet supply stores and the spread of veterinary clinics and pet hotels across the Kingdom. Statistics also show a rise in Saudi imports of pet food, which reached around 130 million kilograms in 2019, worth a total of approximately 800 million riyals, imported from 18 countries including the United States, Spain, Germany and Italy.

The exhibition attracts numerous prominent exhibitors from various sectors linked to pets, such as veterinary vaccine manufacturers, online stores, pet transport companies, and pet hotels, alongside participation from non-profit animal welfare charities.

Accompanying activities cover a wide range of products and interests related to pet care, including pet food, supplies, toys and clothing, as well as grooming centers and veterinary clinics.
