The National Events Center, in partnership with the Mohammed bin Salman Foundation ("Misk"), has announced the launch of a comprehensive training program called "Event Leaders", aimed at empowering recent Saudi graduates and preparing them to enter the promising events sector. The announcement came Tuesday, in a step aimed at equipping national talent with the skills and knowledge needed to build a successful career in this vital field.

Program Objectives:

The "Event Leaders" program forms part of the Kingdom's efforts to achieve Vision 2030 by developing the events sector and building qualified national talent capable of creativity and innovation. The program aims to:

  • Equip recent Saudi graduates with advanced technical and managerial skills in events management.
  • Support the diversification of national income sources by developing the events sector, one of the important pillars of the national economy.
  • Provide a stimulating, innovative work environment that helps develop young people's capabilities sustainably.

Program Components:

Applications for the program open on 27 October 2024, while hands-on training begins 1 January 2025 and runs for a full year. The program includes:

  • Intensive workshops and training courses delivered in partnership with leading international and local training institutes.
  • Equipping trainees with the latest knowledge and techniques in events management.
  • Hands-on training opportunities with leading companies and organizations in the events sector to help participants gain practical experience.
