As part of ongoing efforts to strengthen the Arabic language's standing in the digital age, the King Salman Global Academy for Arabic Language continues to roll out innovative initiatives, the latest of which is the launch of the "Dhakaa Al-Arabiya" ("Arabic Intelligence") Center on April 29, 2024. The center is the first of its kind dedicated to harnessing artificial intelligence technologies to support and process the Arabic language, aiming to transform how the language is used across various technical fields, locally and internationally, in line with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030 and the National Strategy for Data and Artificial Intelligence.

The Dhakaa Al-Arabiya Center aims to harness the latest AI technologies to deliver advanced solutions including text analysis, correct pronunciation recognition, and the development of applications that account for the particularity and diversity of the Arabic language, from classical Arabic to colloquial dialects. The center seeks to become a global reference point for researchers and developers by offering large linguistic corpora and innovative digital dictionaries.

The center's vision centers on overcoming the linguistic challenges facing AI applications, such as linguistic diversity and lexical richness. To achieve this, it is working to compile comprehensive language data and develop advanced algorithms based on deep learning to improve the performance of intelligent systems.

The King Salman Global Academy for Arabic Language is keen to build strategic partnerships with AI bodies, which helps strengthen the center's capabilities and develop new innovations that support Arabic's standing on the global stage. As such, the Dhakaa Al-Arabiya Center represents a qualitative step toward integrating the Arabic language into the modern digital landscape and ensuring its active presence amid rapid technological progress.
