Day seven of the Riyadh Theatre Festival, in its second edition, brought an exceptional atmosphere full of cultural diversity and artistic creativity, with a lineup of interactive workshops and stage performances that drew theatre and art lovers of all ages.

The day's events opened with the "Living the Moment" workshop, which gave participants a chance to dive into the Stanislavski method. The workshop focused on strengthening an actor's stage presence through interactive emotional exercises and the foundations of internal and external acting technique, covering the technical and methodological aspects that help build a strong, compelling stage character, adding new knowledge and technical depth to participants' skills.

The day's stage performances carried rich, moving stories, most notably:

  • "The Ghosts": which portrayed the struggle of three expatriate students caught between their big dreams and a reality weighed down by illusion. The play explored themes of ambition, alienation and the search for identity through a gripping, emotional narrative that won over the audience with the depth of its human message.
  • "Sherhaban": which offered an epic narrative about a young woman seeking to break free of society's constraints, with the action moving between valleys and mountains to tell the story of Sherhaban and her brother Hamdan's journey toward freedom. The play combined human symbolism with deep questions about love and tradition, making it one of the festival's most inspiring performances.

Day seven closed with a series of activities and performances marked by a spirit of innovation and creativity, amid strong audience engagement and praise for the high artistic standard and cultural experiences offered by the festival.
