Values of generosity, compassion, charity and empathy are deeply rooted in Saudi society. The nonprofit sector is therefore an important driver of positive impact on individuals and society in Saudi Arabia, playing a role no less significant than that of the government and private sectors and promoting sustainable growth at every level.

One of the goals of Saudi Vision 2030 is to raise the nonprofit sector's contribution to 5% of gross domestic product by 2030 across 10 areas of work, with the aim of supporting and facilitating charitable and volunteer work and boosting citizens' contribution to helping all members of society. These efforts have helped increase the number of volunteers twentyfold between 2015 and 2022.

Housing initiatives enable the families most in need to own suitable homes. The most prominent is the Jood_Al_Iskan initiative, which contributes to achieving the goals of #Saudi_Vision_2030 by improving quality of life and building a brighter future.
