The festival is held on more than 28,000 square meters within the university campus and ranks among the university's most prominent annual events, celebrating the cultural diversity and civilizational richness brought by its students, who represent more than 150 nationalities and showcase the customs, dress and heritage of their home countries in an atmosphere of warmth and mutual understanding.

The festival features more than 150 cultural and educational activities, ranging from interactive workshops to folk performances and cultural competitions, making it a unique platform for promoting openness and understanding and cementing the values of tolerance and moderation.

The event also includes an intellectual seminar titled “Awareness of Thought,” dedicated to raising intellectual awareness, promoting a culture of moderation and rejecting extremism, with the participation of a select group of specialists, as part of the university's ongoing effort to play its role in building moderate, stable thinking within society.

The Festival of Cultures and Peoples offers a rare opportunity to encounter the world's civilizations under one roof, seeking to foster a spirit of teamwork, strengthen dialogue between cultures, and spread peace and goodwill among peoples, in a cultural and humanitarian scene that reflects the Islamic University's message to the world.
