Third Real Estate Future Forum Returns in January 2024 to Examine Real Estate's Role in Business Resilience
The Real Estate Future Forum returns for its third edition from January 22 to 24, 2024, with a set of strategic themes tied to the real estate sector, chief among them "the role of real estate in facilitating business." Participants, including local and international experts, developers and real estate leaders, investors and senior figures, will examine this theme from several angles with the aim of reaching practical recommendations.
The theme "the role of real estate in enhancing business resilience" covers several key topics. They include financial resilience, which looks at office space and its role in adapting to short-term economic shocks, and the importance of the right location with suitable services and facilities. They also include technological resilience, covering the role of data and artificial intelligence in designing and improving workplaces, as well as modern construction technologies and improvements to the urban landscape, which contribute directly to providing high-tech services to residents, making their lives easier and improving their well-being.
The same theme also addresses workforce resilience, including investment in facilities that support quality of life, a supportive environment that helps employees perform better and build their skills, and dynamic buildings that attract businesses of all sizes, all of which help advance the business sector across its various fields and activities.
The forum's CEO, Abdullah Al-Harbi, said the third edition will see a major step forward in the substance of its themes, panel discussions and workshops. He stressed the forum's commitment to continuing its series, noting that real estate is one of the main pillars of the Kingdom's economy and a key channel for attracting high-quality foreign investment, and that the forum also helps develop small and medium-sized real estate businesses and raise the quality of their work and services.
Al-Harbi added that many local, regional and international real estate entities have expressed interest in taking part in the third edition, encouraged by the success of the first two. This, he said, has set the organizers a major challenge that calls for further success and distinction in the third edition.
