The Ministry of Culture has launched the "Pay for Performance" program to support non-profit cultural organizations, part of its efforts to boost their role in the cultural sector and increase their impact as active partners in its development. The program is part of the ministry's strategy to empower the non-profit sector and seeks to achieve sustainable cultural impact through support mechanisms built on performance measurement and merit.

Noha bint Saeed Qattan, Deputy Minister of Culture for National Partnerships and Capacity Development, stressed the importance of non-profit organizations in strengthening the cultural sector, noting that the program aims to improve their financial sustainability and raise their operational efficiency, in line with the goals of the National Culture Strategy and Saudi Vision 2030.

The program covers several key areas, including funding for cultural projects and activities, capacity building for organizations, awards for leading organizations, and support for establishing new organizations in priority fields. It also focuses on strengthening the financial sustainability of high-impact organizations to ensure their continuity.

The ministry will evaluate funding applications based on specific criteria, including organizations' past performance and strategic focus areas. Eligible organizations will be announced after the application period closes on May 15, 2025.
