MAKKAH — The Presidency of Religious Affairs at the Grand Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque, through its Agency for Libraries, Publications and Scientific Research, has launched a package of specialized multilingual tracks at the Grand Mosque Library, aimed at enriching the religious, cultural and educational experience of pilgrims during the 1446H Hajj season.

The Grand Mosque Library ranks among the most prestigious libraries in the Islamic world, holding rare manuscripts, valuable religious texts and a wide range of scholarly resources in multiple languages, making it a global platform for moderate Islamic scholarship and culture and a source of civilizational outreach to humanity.

Sheikh Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Sudais, President of the Presidency of Religious Affairs at the Two Holy Mosques, said the initiative builds on the Two Holy Mosques' role in spreading moderate thought and reinforcing sound religious awareness, in line with the directives of the Kingdom's leadership, which has given the library considerable attention as part of Saudi Vision 2030.

He noted that the library will deliver its scholarly and intellectual content through dedicated multilingual programs serving pilgrims of different nationalities, focused on reinforcing religious values and promoting moderation, tolerance and knowledge, adding that the library plays a pivotal role in conveying the message of the Two Holy Mosques to the world.

The agency has begun rolling out new specialized programs and tracks targeting various groups of pilgrims and researchers within an advanced digital knowledge environment, with the aim of making the Grand Mosque Library a civilizational and scholarly destination that enriches the faith experience of pilgrims and visitors, and helps carry the message of the Two Holy Mosques to every corner of the world.
