More Than 151,000 Users Benefit From "Prayer Guide" Digital Platform During 1446H Hajj Season
Makkah — 23 Dhul Hijjah 1446H, corresponding to June 19, 2025.
The General Presidency for the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque announced that its "Prayer Guide" digital platform served more than 151,000 users during the 1446H Hajj season, a digital milestone reflecting the effectiveness of technological transformation in serving Allah's guests and enhancing the experience of those visiting the Two Holy Mosques through advanced, multilingual digital services.
The "Prayer Guide" platform offers an interactive digital experience supporting seven world languages — Arabic, English, French, Turkish, Urdu, Malay and Indonesian — helping ensure access for a wide range of nationalities and improving the quality and focus of visitors' worship at the Grand Mosque.
Visitors can easily access the platform through QR codes placed throughout the prayer areas, offering a smooth, smart experience that includes a translated digital copy of the Holy Quran, a comprehensive library of supplications and remembrances, and simplified educational videos explaining acts of worship such as prayer, ablution, Hajj, Umrah and funeral prayer, among others.
The platform also offers a video archive of sermons from the Two Holy Mosques, live streaming of Friday sermons, updated prayer-time schedules, information on imams and muezzins, and round-the-clock coverage via the Holy Quran and Prophetic Sunnah channels, in addition to facilitating access to the live broadcast of the Sermon of Arafah during the Hajj season.
The step is part of the Presidency's efforts to digitize religious services and deliver a high-quality worship experience for pilgrims and Umrah performers, within the Kingdom's vision of advancing digital transformation in service of the Two Holy Mosques.
