MAKKAH — As part of its ongoing efforts to develop infrastructure in the holy sites, Kidana Development and Investment Company — the master developer of the holy sites — has completed an advanced healthcare project: a new emergency hospital at Mina with a capacity exceeding 180 beds, built in a record 30 days in partnership with the Ministry of Health.

The hospital is located next to the existing Mina Emergency Hospital, in a strategic location on Al-Rabitah Street, and is connected to King Abdulaziz Road via a modern bridge and electric elevators to enable quick access and ensure immediate response to emergency cases.

The project aligns with Saudi Vision 2030's goals of raising the efficiency of health and logistics services in the holy sites. The hospital was designed to the highest medical specifications and standards, and includes:

  • Dedicated units for emergency and heat-stress cases
  • Isolation and resuscitation rooms and inpatient wards
  • A medical laboratory, radiology department, and fully equipped facilities for medical staff

The project is a valuable addition that boosts the capacity of health facilities during the Hajj season and strengthens the health system's readiness to handle critical and emergency cases efficiently and swiftly, ensuring the safety and comfort of pilgrims as they perform their rites.
