The Saudi Arabian Society for Culture and Arts in Jeddah has announced the terms and conditions for the seventh edition of the Dhiaa Aziz Portrait Award competition.

Under the rules, entries must be recent works that have not taken part in any previous competition, must not be copied from any other artwork, and must carry an innovative artistic message and vision. Each side of the canvas must be no larger than 90 cm and no smaller than 70 cm.

Competition Rules

The terms and conditions stipulate that the work must not have been entered in any other competition, must be recent and not copied from any other artwork, and must carry an innovative artistic message and vision. No side of the canvas may exceed 90 cm or be less than 70 cm.

Only acrylic and oil paints are permitted, and each artist may submit a maximum of three works.

The society said the deadline for receiving entries is December 1.
