Hail, May 25, 2025 (27 Dhu al-Qa'dah 1446 AH) — Hail region's municipal authority, represented by the General Department of Parks and Beautification, has completed preparations to welcome visitors and residents during the blessed Eid Al-Adha holiday, by readying more than 300 parks, gardens, green spaces and neighborhood gardens, as part of a comprehensive plan aimed at enhancing community wellbeing and improving quality of life and the urban landscape across the city.

Eng. Saud bin Fahd Al-Ali, official spokesperson and assistant secretary for media and institutional communication, explained that the municipality's field teams carried out integrated work including maintaining green spaces, removing weeds and preparing park facilities to be safe and appealing for visitors — including maintaining children's play equipment, updating safety measures, and preparing walking and jogging tracks and irrigation networks.

Beautification work also included refurbishing lighting poles and decorative lighting, and preparing family seating areas, canopies, restrooms and parking, aiming to provide a comfortable, safe environment for all segments of society, especially during the Eid Al-Adha days, which see strong turnout at public parks and gardens.

These efforts are part of the region's municipal development strategy, in line with Saudi Vision 2030 targets, to provide an integrated urban environment allowing residents and visitors of Hail to enjoy their time in a recreational atmosphere with modern facilities.

Al-Ali called on all park visitors to enjoy the holiday and the prepared facilities while committing to preserving public property, to ensure sustainable use of these green spaces.
