Madinah, May 29, 2025 (2 Dhu al-Hijjah 1446 AH) — As part of its continued efforts to serve women visitors to the Prophet's Mosque, the General Presidency for the Affairs of the Prophet's Mosque launched a pioneering awareness initiative titled "Be a Conscious Muslim," supervised by the Women's Affairs Agency, as part of its operational plan for the Hajj 1446 AH season, aimed at strengthening the intellectual and faith-based dimension for women visitors to Madinah.

The initiative, implemented by the General Department of Women's Intellectual and Cultural Affairs, seeks to establish a correct understanding of Islamic teachings, affirm its tolerant values, and introduce visitors to the principles of Islam in a moderate style that reflects the religion's tolerance and inclusiveness, helping raise the level of religious and intellectual awareness among visitors, particularly during the Hajj season, which sees a large influx of people from different nationalities and cultures.

The initiative includes a series of programs, lessons, scientific and guidance courses, carefully designed to suit the diverse cultural backgrounds of women visitors, featuring scholarly sessions and awareness lectures delivered in an organized spiritual atmosphere inside the Prophet's Mosque, helping deepen the faith experience of Muslim women and enrich their knowledge in a safe, stimulating educational environment.

The presidency affirmed that the initiative stems from its vision of spreading moderate Islamic awareness according to a well-studied scholarly method, and improving the quality of services provided to women visitors of the Prophet's Mosque, fulfilling its mission of caring for the Two Holy Mosques and their visitors, and providing a knowledge environment that meets the needs of visitors across different age groups and educational levels.

"Be a Conscious Muslim" reflects the presidency's commitment to strengthening intellectual and scholarly dimensions alongside organizational services, reinforcing the Prophet's Mosque's role as a center of scholarly and spiritual influence across the Islamic world, and contributing to building an informed, enlightened female awareness immune to misguided concepts.
