Dhahran, June 1, 2025 (5 Dhu al-Hijjah 1446H) — The King Abdulaziz Center for World Culture, known as Ithra, in Dhahran is preparing a comprehensive and varied cultural programme to mark the blessed Eid Al-Adha, organizing 31 creative and interactive events under the title "Ribbon of Giving." The programme runs from June 7 to 9, 2025, and is designed to create a festive atmosphere celebrating generosity and joy for every member of the family.

The line-up brings together cultural, artistic and educational activities that reflect the diversity of the cultural experience in the Kingdom and across the Islamic world. Ithra's library is hosting "Eid Tales" storytelling sessions, while the theatre stages an interactive show titled "A Tune From Every Land," exploring the musical and cultural diversity of Eid celebrations across the Muslim world, alongside a musical evening full of colour and emotion.

Visitors can also explore the exhibitions currently running at the Ithra Museum, which coincide with the "Year of Handicrafts," recounting the stories of traditional art and authentic craft practices. The interactive line-up includes family games such as "Memory Game – Faces of Giving" and the "Smile Challenge," as well as activities designed for children, including "Move Your Feelings," which helps young visitors express emotion through interactive role-play.

On the educational side, Ithra is offering sessions such as "Nature's Riches" and "Treasures of the Desert," which explain environmental and scientific concepts in a playful way, alongside the architectural art installation "Paths of Land and Palm," which captures the relationship between people and place in the Eastern Province.

The programme also features art and volunteering workshops, including "A Painting of Time," "Vessel of Giving" and "From Me to Them," which instil values of generosity and participation in children and adults alike, reinforcing the concept of giving within a cultural and humanitarian context.

In its cinemas, Ithra is screening family films, among them the popular anime "Kiki," the tale "Little Maruko," and "Darb Zubaidah — A Hiking Journey," which recounts historical episodes of generosity and compassion, in addition to the educational film "Renewed Giving," about sustainable energy, and "Inspiring Rotation," which links the Earth's rotation to the rhythms of daily life.

The "Ribbon of Giving" programme underlines Ithra's standing as a cultural platform that embraces the arts and knowledge and strengthens community engagement through varied, innovative content suited to all ages, embodying the spirit of Eid through participation, inspiration and creativity.
