Mina, June 6, 2025 (10 Dhu al-Hijjah 1446H) — As part of implementing its comprehensive outreach plan during Hajj season, the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Da'wah and Guidance announced it delivered more than 10,000 religious and awareness activities during the days of Tarwiyah and Arafah, including guidance talks, scholarly lectures and jurisprudence seminars, across mosques and camp sites in Mina and Arafat, as part of the ministry's efforts to raise religious awareness and enable pilgrims to perform the rites correctly.

The ministry also sent 34 million SMS text messages to pilgrims' phones in multiple languages, containing simplified religious content that helps ease the performance of the rites and spread knowledge in record time and in a language every pilgrim can understand, in cooperation with national telecom companies.

The ministry also activated 20 awareness booths distributed across the busiest sites, including six near Mount Al-Rahma, three at Namirah Mosque and 11 in Mina, and distributed 330,000 copies of translated religious books and leaflets explaining the rulings and rites of Hajj in a simplified style.

The remote guidance service received more than 110,000 religious queries from pilgrims via toll-free phone lines and live video calls, answered by a select group of qualified scholars and preachers from across the Kingdom's regions, providing accurate, real-time religious rulings that give pilgrims peace of mind.

The ministry also deployed 350 digital screens across the Holy Sites, broadcasting 1.5 million awareness and guidance messages in seven different languages, making it easy for guidance to reach pilgrims wherever they are.

This effort forms part of an integrated system through which the Ministry of Islamic Affairs seeks to strengthen the presence of moderate religious discourse and provide an accessible, comprehensive spiritual experience for pilgrims, in line with Saudi Vision 2030's goal of developing and elevating Hajj services to the highest standards.
