Jeddah Airports, in partnership with more than 50 government and operational agencies, has launched a comprehensive awareness campaign called "Flight 46," aimed at guiding pilgrims departing through King Abdulaziz International Airport in the days following the 1446H Hajj season. The campaign is part of integrated efforts to improve the experience of Allah's guests and boost the efficiency of services in the departure halls.

It is designed to spread guidance in multiple languages covering baggage-handling instructions, how to deal with Zamzam water containers, customs declaration forms and required documents, as well as raising awareness of items and materials banned from travel bags — all aimed at making travel procedures easier and cutting the time and effort pilgrims spend.

A hallmark of the campaign is its use of multiple communication channels: airport screens, social media platforms, and more than two million SMS messages sent directly to pilgrims' phones carrying simple, clear guidance, starting from the third day of Eid al-Adha.

The campaign also included a comprehensive guidebook translated into six languages — Arabic, English, Chinese, French, Urdu and Malay — distributed in cooperation with the awareness center of the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah to the various pilgrim delegations, to reach the widest possible range of travelers.

"Flight 46" is expected to run until all pilgrims have departed, around the middle of Dhul Hijjah, reflecting the Kingdom's commitment to delivering a comfortable, safe departure experience worthy of this sacred ritual and reflecting Saudi Arabia's leading role in serving the Two Holy Mosques.
