Hail House Festival 2025 launched under the slogan "Our House is Your House, Welcome," bringing visitors back, in its fourth edition, to the heart of authentic Hail heritage through a comprehensive cultural and entertainment experience featuring more than 40 varied events over 30 days, celebrating handicrafts, folk arts and traditional food amid an atmosphere pulsing with national identity.

The festival serves as a living platform to showcase the talents of male and female craftspeople from across the region, who display their handmade work before visitors in a lively, interactive style that reflects their inherited skills, within a carefully designed heritage setting that evokes the old souks with their distinctive corners and aesthetics.

Handicrafts Telling the Story of People and Place

The crafts on display reflect the richness of Hail's community and its long history, most notably:

  • Palm-frond weaving, Sadu weaving, textiles and crochet
  • Najdi and Hail-style doors, and traditional-clothing tailoring
  • Thamudic embroidery, leatherwork and palm-fiber crafts
  • Resin work and handmade soap
  • A Hail incense-burner corner and local fine art

The festival also hosts a folk-food corner featuring traditional Hail cuisine rooted in the region's collective memory, alongside a daily theater showcasing heritage performances such as the "Hail Samri," the Saudi Ardah, and the "Southern Step" dance, lending the festival a festive spirit.

A Festival Aligned with the Year of Handicrafts 2025

The festival comes in support of the Year of Handicrafts 2025, with the organizing committee dedicating major space for local craftspeople to display and sell their products directly, aiming to:
