Hafar Al-Batin Governorate Municipality is a government body under the Ministry of Municipalities and Housing responsible for municipal services, planning, projects, parks and markets in the governorate. Hafar Al-Batin Municipality was founded in 1357 AH and, in 1439 AH, a Council of Ministers decision raised it to the status of an Amanah.
It oversees seven sub-municipalities: West, East and South Hafar Al-Batin, Al-Sadawi, Al-Qaisumah, Al-Saeerah and Al-Dhibiyah, and organises seasonal events such as the Hafar Al-Batin Falcon Festival with the Saudi Falcons Club, the agricultural and livestock produce festival, winter camps and the preparation of spring parks.
