The Hafar Al-Batin Falcon Festival is organised by the governorate municipality under the supervision of Hafar Al-Batin Governorate and with the support of the Saudi Falcons Club. It aims to promote falconry as a pursuit, raise awareness of falcon breeding, strengthen the falconry heritage and encourage falconers to take part in races.
Hafar Al-Batin was chosen for its geographic distinction as a leading destination for falconers and one of the main migration corridors for falcons, and the 2024 edition ran from 13 to 20 November with falconers from the Kingdom and the Gulf states.
