Background and programme announced before the postponement
The following preserves the edition’s previous outline. It is not confirmation of the 2027 dates or programme.
The tenth edition is held under the patronage of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, marking a new milestone for an initiative launched in 2017 that has grown into an international platform for dialogue on the future of investment, the economy, technology and the sectors shaping global development.
Riyadh Gathers Investment Leaders and Decision-Makers
FII 2026 attracts officials, investors, CEOs and the heads of sovereign funds and financial institutions, along with experts, innovators and entrepreneurs, in a gathering aimed at discussing economic shifts and exploring new investment opportunities.
The tenth edition is expected to welcome more than 10,000 participants from more than 100 countries, with hundreds of speakers and experts taking part in specialized sessions and discussions.
This diversity gives the initiative an international space for exchanging views between the public and private sectors and exploring cooperation and partnership opportunities across promising markets and sectors.
AI and Emerging Technologies Among the Main Themes
Artificial intelligence and emerging technologies feature strongly on the FII 2026 agenda, with sessions discussing the investment opportunities created by rapid technological progress and its effect on economic sectors and future business models.
The initiative also addresses sustainable energy and climate solutions, investment opportunities in clean energy and emissions reduction, and the transformation of the global energy sector.
The discussion extends to the global economy, international trade and geopolitical shifts and their impact on investor decisions, capital flows and markets.
Health and Human Capital on the Table
The initiative devotes part of its program to the future of healthcare and biotechnology, exploring the investments and innovations capable of developing health services and opening new markets for companies and investors.
Human capital and talent development also feature in the discussions, as modern technology changes the nature of jobs, the skills required and the future of the workplace.
Programs Connecting Investors with Opportunities
The tenth edition includes a set of accompanying programs and sessions designed to strengthen networking among participants and open the way for building investment relationships.
The programs include sessions bringing CEOs and business leaders together, platforms for dialogue on leadership and youth, and meetings aimed at connecting capital with promising investment opportunities and projects.
These meetings carry particular weight given the initiative's role in bringing capital owners, policymakers and the leaders of global companies together on one platform.
Ten Editions of Dialogue on the Future of Investment
The 2026 edition is a landmark as the Future Investment Initiative reaches its tenth edition, after a journey of expanding participation, topics and sectors.
Holding the initiative in Riyadh strengthens the Kingdom's presence on the map of international economic and investment conferences, and offers a platform to present investment opportunities and discuss the trends likely to shape the global economy in the coming years.
Attendance and registration
Attendance is restricted to members, invited delegates and organizer-approved categories. The conference is not open to the general public free of charge. The membership route involves fees; an annual membership amount is not a standalone conference ticket price.
The announced registration deadline was 10 October 2026 and has passed. Consult the official tenth-edition page for updates, any exceptions and the detailed programme. Uniform daily programme hours have not been verified.
