The College of Engineering at the University of Hail organised the IEEE 2025 international conference on sustainable energy and net zero emissions (SENZE'25) on 28 and 29 October 2025 at the university conference centre. The Deputy Governor of Hail presided over the opening on behalf of the Governor, with acting university president Dr Badr Al-Harbi present.
The conference addressed renewable-energy technologies, energy efficiency, smart grids and pathways to net zero emissions, through peer-reviewed papers, panel discussions and an accompanying exhibition of organisations and companies.
