Afaq Academy for Arts and Culture has closed its first academic year with two ceremonies held in Riyadh and Jeddah, attended by students and their families, celebrating a year full of educational, cultural and artistic programs that helped discover talent and develop the creative abilities of male and female students.
The ceremonies honored outstanding students in the fourth grade of primary school and the first grade of intermediate school, and presented creative works and projects that embodied the skills and knowledge students gained in the academy's three educational tracks: visual arts, performing arts and music.
The program also included artistic and theatrical performances by students, along with an accompanying art exhibition of creative works completed by participants during the academic year, giving visitors a view of the outcomes of the learning process and its varied artistic output.
During its first year the academy delivered more than 640 lessons in each of its cultural and artistic tracks, along with specialized training workshops, field visits and participation in multiple cultural and artistic events, strengthening students' practical experience and enriching their learning.
The academy is one of the initiatives aimed at discovering and nurturing cultural and artistic talent at the general education stage, through a specialized learning environment built on modern curricula and equipped facilities including theaters, studios and creative spaces that support learning and skills development.
The academy has also opened registration for the 1448–1449 AH (2026–2027) academic year, as part of its continued efforts to prepare a generation of creators able to contribute to the growth of the Kingdom's cultural and artistic sector, in line with Saudi Vision 2030.
