The Grand Hajj Symposium 2023 is being held at the Ritz-Carlton hotel in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, from June 17 to June 20, 2023, corresponding to 28 Dhu al-Qadah to 2 Dhu al-Hijjah in the Hijri calendar.

The symposium aims to highlight the cultural and civilizational role Saudi Arabia plays in serving Hajj and pilgrims, and to shed light on the achievements, projects and developments at the Two Holy Mosques in the service of Muslims.

Attended by a number of scholars and running for three days, the symposium offers those interested and specialized in Hajj across the Islamic world an opportunity to study and discuss issues related to the pilgrimage and pilgrims, and to strengthen the exchange of expertise and experience.

The symposium also aims to affirm Saudi Arabia's readiness to receive pilgrims from all backgrounds and to provide them with every facility needed to perform the fifth pillar of Islam in comfort and ease. It sends a message of peace, security and reassurance from Makkah to the world.
