Jazan, 4 Rajab 1447 AH (24 December 2025)

A new edition of Jazan Festival 2026 launches tomorrow under the theme "Jazan... Nature's Treasures," a major entertainment and cultural carnival awaited by thousands of visitors from inside and outside the region, marking the start of a season packed with events running for several months.

The festival opens with a grand celebratory parade starting at 3:45 pm along Jazan's waterfront, beginning at the pedestrian walkway behind the paddle courts at the start of the corniche, passing through the cultural street, and ending at the Ship Theatre, in a ceremonial scene that officially marks the festival's launch.

This year's Jazan Festival offers an unprecedented, high-quality experience that combines the region's stunning geographic diversity — its towering green mountains, golden beaches and picturesque islands — with the authenticity of Jazan's rich heritage, alongside modern entertainment programs designed to suit all age groups and meet the expectations of visitors and tourists.

The opening parade forms a vivid artistic tableau, with the waterfront decorated by giant dancing puppets floating in the air, coordinated performance troupes, and decorated floats representing the region's governorates and their cultural and heritage diversity.

Performing arts inspired by local folklore lend an authentic character to the celebration, in harmony with moving sculptures and visual displays, alongside the festival's "tifo" display as a symbol of unity and a celebration of Jazan's natural and cultural assets.

The celebratory scenes are complemented by innovative light and sound shows, before the parade closes with a dazzling fireworks display that lights up Jazan's sky in vivid colors, heralding the start of a season filled with joy, discovery and unique entertainment experiences.
